WHY: The pervasiveness of domestic violence in Marin County is alarming. It is the number one violent crime police respond to. More than 600 victims report domestic violence incidents to law enforcement agencies each year and the majority of homicides in the last few years have been domestic violence related.
HOW: The CCR Network takes a system-wide approach to the problem of domestic violence by analyzing how agencies and organizations work together as a coordinated approach to serve victims and bring about justice.
WHO: The public is invited to attend and take ownership of the issue of domestic violence and participate in finding system-wide solutions to our response in Marin County.
